I joined the studio and I found out that they have this modeled this character already , however as a lead artist I checked the files and i notes a lot of problems in the low poly mesh so I take it as a chance to train junior character artist Calara L. Vegel on the low poly stage workflow including clean retopology that fits nicely in the rig/animation , optimization and UVs and she was a fast learner and we had fun working together on this project.
