A Stylized Character — 2020

3D Character Study — Based on a Concept by Justin Rodrigues ( https://www.justindraws.com )

This character was created in 2020 as a 3D interpretation of a concept by artist Justin Rodrigues.

My goal was to translate the strong, stylized shapes and exaggerated proportions of the original concept into a 3D character while preserving its distinctive personality and silhouette.
I focused particularly on the character’s muscular anatomy, proportions, facial features, and clean stylized forms.

The character was sculpted in ZBrush, with the final presentation and render created in Marmoset Toolbag.

It was a great exercise in translating 2D stylized artwork into 3D while maintaining the visual language and appeal of the original design.
