Greetings, I am pleased to present one of the projects I recently completed.
As the Lead 3D Character Game Artist at Couch Heroes Game Studios in Greece, I took ownership of this project, driven by my admiration for its design.
This NPC character was a collaborative effort, with Dim Chryss, a Junior 3D Character Artist, contributing under my guidance as part of his training.
His adeptness in grasping the High Poly workflow for game characters greatly expedited the initial stages, while I oversaw subsequent phases.
Additionally, my team and I refined the original concept art incoulding the creative director of the studio, crafted by 2D Artist Kerim Turay.
To facilitate this process, I requested the new designs be superimposed onto our main 3D male character, a testament to our iterative approach.
Employing an efficient low poly workflow, the NPC character, including its shield, totaled less than 60k triangles.
